Yes. Robinz Electrical is a family-run team of qualified, fully insured electricians, covered by £2 million public liability and £250,000 professional indemnity insurance. We're NAPIT registered — so we can notify building control when notifiable electrical work is carried out, keeping everything within building regulations — and members of the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology). All work is carried out to current UK wiring regulations (BS 7671).

We do. We handle residential and commercial electrical work — from a single socket or light fitting in your home to installations, maintenance and testing for offices, shops and commercial premises. We also work closely with landlords and estate agents on rentals and HMOs (houses of multiple occupancy), which carry extra requirements such as emergency lighting and PAT testing.

We're based in Hertfordshire and cover a wide area. Locally that includes Knebworth, Woolmer Green, Stevenage, Welwyn, Hatfield, St Albans, Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock, Hertford and Ware, and we regularly travel to Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Harlow and Bishop's Stortford — with North London and further afield covered on request. Yes — we carry out electrical inspections, EICR reports, PAT testing and emergency lighting testing for homeowners, landlords and businesses, and provide full certification on completion.

Absolutely. We replace and upgrade old fuse boards to modern consumer units with RCD/RCBO protection, improving the safety and compliance of your electrics.

Yes. We offer a 24-hour emergency call-out service, 7 days a week, for urgent electrical faults and safety concerns.

Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We're closed Saturday and Sunday, but a 24-hour emergency call-out is available 7 days a week.
